Ford F 150
Are you looking for a 2010 Ford F150?
Q: I have a Ford F 150 pick up truck that wont go into reverse. can any one assist in finding a cause for this?
It’s a 1995 Ford F 150 pick up truck with a 5.0 motor Rear axle drive with a push button over drive on the Calum, it is a U Type automatic C6 Transmission it shifts in every forward gear just not reverse. can some one give me any suggestions on fixing this problem?
A: Either that or the valvebody may have a clog someplace. If its just got engaging at all. It may be the valvebody, if it is engaging but not moving, probably drum clutches/ band problem. Pull your dipstick out and smell the fluid. If it smells burnt, thats a good sign your trannys toast.

Q: Where is the coolant temperature sensor on a Ford F-150?
I have a 2000 Ford F-150 V6 4.2L. It needs the engine coolant temperature sensor replaced but I can’t find it anywhere. It’s not where the manual at O’Reillys says it should be and the people at O’reillys couldn’t find it either. It’s just an old work truck so I’m hoping to avoid an expensive trip to the dealership so any help would be appreciated.
A: You probable have two;
# 1will be Located next to Thermostat Housing,This one feeds the gauge in Your Dash;
The other one will be in the Intake Housing it feeds Computer which Tells Rad Fan to go to work when temp is at mid-range;
Q: I have a Ford F-150 with a manual trannie and want to switch to automatic. Has anyone ever done that?
I own a 1999 Ford F-150 XL which came with a stick shift/ manual transmission. I am in the process of refurbishing this pickup. I am going to fit “Altezza” taillights, 20″ wheels and LED headlights among other things. I want to remove the manual gearbox and put in a new automatic transmission. Has anybody else ever done that and what changes if any are needed to be done on the transmission-tunnel? Your prompt and concise response(s) will be greatly appreciated.
A: You should not need to modify the tunnel, except to maybe cut or cover a few access points. Go to a junk yard and find your year truck with your engine and an automatic transmission, you will need the trans, the cross bar mount, the shifter mechinism all the way to the steering colum, the brake pedal, and you will need the flex plate from the other engine, not to mention any wiring harness that is with the trans including the brain for the truck. BIG JOB BUT IT CAN BE DONE! Be sure the junker truck is as much like your truck as you can! oh yea you will also need the drive shaft and I would check the ratio on the rear end as you might need that as well.
Q: How much is a 6″ lift kit for a 1996 Ford F-150?
I have a 1996 Ford F-150 single cab v8 with the 302, only its rear wheel not the 4X4. How much would a lift kit be for it and i plan on doing all the work to it myself so i dont have to give some grease monkey all my money.
A: They normally don’t make 6″ lift kits for 2wd but if you want 6′ lift go could go with a 4″ suspension lift and then add a 2″ body/block lift…
The body lift should run you around $34-65 and the suspension lift will run you $475-689
Q: How much would it cost to get an 18″ lift kit on a ford f-150?
How much would it cost to get an 18″ lift kit on a ford f-150?
A: A lot. Trying to build a monster truck that’s a huge lift?
Q: I have two converters on my 1994 Ford F-150, can i cut one out and just extend the pipe?
I have a 1994 Ford F-150 4.9L 2WD, I want to get it a deeper tone. I have a Raven muffler on it and it sounds good but it’s not how i want it. They built older Ford trucks with two converters… and I was wondering if it would be bad for my truck if i took one out and just filled it in with my pipe?
A: AS LONG AS YOU HAVE ONE CAT ON THE TRUCK UR EMISSIONS SHOULDN’T CHANGE TO A DEGREE WHERE YOU’LL FAIL INPECTION. AND 9 OUT OF 10 TIMES, ITS NOT A DOUBLE CAT SYSTEM, ONE IS THE CAT AND THE OTHER IS A RESONATOR. I DID THE SAME THING TO MY FULL SIZE BRONCO AND ITS FINE. JUST MAKE SURE ALL THE PIPES AND FITTINGS R TIGHT OR U’LL GET AN EXHAUST LEAK
Q: Where can I find a fusebox diagram for a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup? I’ve searched google with no luck.
I’m trying to figure out which fuse numbers are for the brake lights & turn signals/blinkers on a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup.
All brake lights & turn signals went out at one time, but taillights still work. Would that be a fuse?
A: Go to the fuse panel under the steering wheel. Fuse 13 is blown which controls your stop lamps and turn/hazard flashers it is 20Amp small blade fuse.

Q: Would a Ford F-150 V8 beat a cheap kid civics?
Ok so i picked up my son from High school and I saw many punks trying to race in those crappy honda civics with a fart can to make noise. Would a Ford F-150 V8 5.4L engine beat a V6 kid civic with the fart can. This is a question for Yahoo.
A: If it’s a Civic it doesn’t have a V6. As for your question. It’s going to depend on the truck. 99-03 F-150 will probably be able to beat a stock or near stock Civic (as long as it’s not an Si). The 04-08 F-150’s were quite a bit heavier and had a wretched throttle-by-wire system which is unresponsive with the stock ECU settings, so It would be a closer race. However if the Civic is an Si model or is turbo’d (unlikely for a HS kid) then it’ll win.

Q: How do I wire black lights from the fuse box to a on/off switch in my 1991 Ford F-150?
I have black lights and I wanna hook up in my 1991 Ford F-150 but I wanna be able to turn them off and on and I was told I have to run em from the fuse box to a switch then the lights. How do I do that
A: It is easy. Just get some ten gauge wire and a 50 amp inline fuse or whatever size the lights recommend and a connector that will fit around the positive post on your battery. Those are all very cheap and you can get them all at autozone or a store like that. Unhook the battery and then put the lights where you want to install them. Run a positive and ground wire from the wires on the lights. Hook the ground wire to any metal part of your truck. Connect all of the positive wires from however many lights you install and then run one positive wire off of all of those to the switch that you can easily install in your dash, just run the wire under the carpet and dash to the rocker switch then install the switch in the dash by either cutting a hole or getting a switch that has a back that clips on over the wires with sticky tape on the back. Run a wire from the one side of the switch to the online fuse then from the fuse to the battery. Turn on the switch and make sure they work. The battery is only 12volts so it won’t kill you if you accidentally get shocked but call an electrician before doing this type of thing in your house. Electrical tape, wire, fuse, rocker switch, everything will be under 20 bucks easy.

Q: Where can parts for a 1984 Ford F-150 be purchased?
I have recently recieved a 1984 Ford F-150 and it is in need of some parts (Grille, Carburetor, etc.) and was wondering where I might be able to get these parts.
A: Go to your local parts store. I kinda doubt you’ll find any in junkyards unless it’s one for older vehicles,most places crush autos that are 12 yrs. or older
Q: Anyone know how much a Curtis Snow Plow would cost on a 2007 Ford F-150 XLT 4WD?
Wondering if anyone knows how much a Curtis Hitch and Drive Snow Plow would cost to put on a 2007 Ford F-150 XLT 4WD.
A: i don’t know how much the plow would cost,but i would strongly suggest you check your owners manual. i don’t think the suspension is beefy enough to handle a plow unless it’s fiberglass,and i don’t know what the curtis is,
